#25: 2,000 Miles - The Pretenders
We start with a rather unconventional Christmas song. I love the fade-in on this, and the fact that it's not your typical gifts & trees sort of song. I've never really been able to figure out exactly what this is about, either, which further adds to why I like it. I'm leaning toward it being about Santa Claus, but it's so ambiguous in places that it's hard to tell. Sometime it's fun to just let a song be a song, rather than just over-analyze it.
